Building Biology Australia founded in 1999 can offer you a full range of healthy building services from inspecting your home or workplace for air quality concerns, electromagnetic issues, mould and health problems suspected to be aggravated by your building, to consulting and advising on design and material use for new and remodelling/renovation work.
Personal Profile.
I have studied and worked in the U.S. as a Building Biologist, and at the conclusion of my training in 1998 I returned home as the first Australian to have achieved the U.S Building Biology Environmental Inspector certification.
I became a Certified Workplace Trainer and Assessor in 2004 and a Green Building Council of Australia GreenStar (US LEED equivalent) Accredited Professional in 2006 and a certified Mould Inspector & Remediator in 2007.
I have been involved in both alternative/traditional and contemporary styles of building since 1978 and have been working as a Green Healthy Building Consultant after my return from the U.S in 1998 to the present time successfully advising on a number of new and renovation projects and carrying out numerous building inspections for both commercial and residential properties.
It has always been my aim to help people to realise that health hazards can exist in their homes and workplaces, and that ignoring those hazards not only has an adverse effect on their health, but in a wider sense, on the ecology of the planet.
I look forward to hearing from anyone concerned about the impact their built environment may have on their health and who would like to live and work in a healthier building.
